خلاصه يا چکيده : ‭Background: Urinary tract infection is the most common infection in many countries. Young women are more at risk for urinary tract infection. Urinary tract infections are treated with antibiotics. In studies using prophylactic antibiotics are quite effective but also high complications have been reported. More recently, the effects of cranberry juice on urinary and how to prevent urinary tract infections has revealed. With attention to prevalence of recurrent urinary tract infections in Young women and importance of treatment without complication of recurrent urinary tract infections, in this study, Effects of cranberry on recurrent urinary tract infections in women in comparison with antibiotic treatment were investigated. Method: In this study of patients admitted to hospital for gynecologic and urologic Imam Reza (AS), which is at least six times a year in patients with recurrent urinary tract infections despite treat‬ص‍‭term effects of cranberry more than antibiotics, but this superiority in efficacy was not proven. Conclusion: In this study, it was found that cranberry has fewer complications compared with antibiotic therapy. Keywords: recurrent urinary tract infections, antibiotics, cranberry - were enrolled and divided into two groups: Control (antibiotic therapy) and the experimental group (cranberry treatment) groups. Once every 2 months for both urinalysis and urine culture were performed. Results: In this study it was found that E.Coli is the most common cause of recurrent infection in women.
