خلاصه يا چکيده : ‭1.26-score average at hip was -18 years old in remission period who received chemotherapy with ( n=25) or without (n=25) cranial radiation. Patients with in less than 5th percentile height referred to assess the growth hormone deficiency (GHD) by insulin stimulating test . Results: 5 children ( 10.0 ) had GHD and also were osteoporotic. By WHO definition BMD decreased in 47 patients ( 94.0). there was significant differences between ALL and NHL at hip density (p<0.001) and at lumbar spine (p=0.018). significant differences between 2 treatment groups was not seen. The Z- growth impairment in pediatric patients with ALL,NHL treated with chemotherapy alone and chemoradiotherapy .Material and methods: we evaluated densitometry ,bone biomarkers ,thyroid function test ,growth percentiles in 50 children with ALL(n=25),NHL( n=25) at 3&50 prevalency ),thyroid disorders and growth failure .which in addition to cytotoxic chemotherapy , radiotherapy influences on bone mineral density(BMD). Object : Comparison of decreasing bone density -Introduction: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and Non Hodgkins Lymphoma(NHL) are the most common cancers in childhood and adolescence. Despite of long survival .80 of pediatric cancers survivors following the treatment will develop late complications such as endocrinopathy (20‬▒‭0.54-1.06 in ALL group compared with‬▒‭1.32 in NHL group ( p=0.04). delayed or premature puberty was not seen. We found hypothyroidism in 2 (4.0 )patients with ALL without radiotherapy .The T4 average was lower in whom not received radiotherapy. we found significant differences for height in ALL and NHL group( p=0.07) . 2 patients (4.0 ) had over weight in assessing BMI( Body Mass Index).Conclusion: regarding to severe decline at BMD in overally 94 of our patients. Lower BMD and short stature and hypothyroidism were more common in our ALL patients compared with NHL.
