خلاصه يا چکيده : ‭CRP is not a valid biomarker for the prediction of chronic kidney disease in type 2 diabetic patients. Keywords: Chronic kidney disease, High sensitive CRP, inflammation, type 2 Diabetes -CRP levels did show a significant relationship with chronic kidney disease (p=0.109) and albuminuria (p=0.066). Conclusion: Our results showed that hs-CRP. However, the hs-CRP biomarker varied significantly by age (p=0.001), FBS (p=0.001), triglyceride (p=0.001), cholesterol (p=0.001), HDL (p=0.037), and BMI (p=0.006 among patients grouped based on their serum hs-CRP, lipid profiles , serum creatinine , micro albuminuria (albumin: creatinine ratio in morning urine sample) .The data analysis of physical examination, demographic and laboratory data was performed using SPSS software (version 11.5). Results: The prevalence of diabetic chronic kidney disease in our patients was 63.7 . Multinomial logistic regression model of collected data showed that age, BMI, Proliferative retinopathy and risk of cardiovascular disease were significant independent predictors of chronic kidney disease. The hs-sectional study, 342 patients with type 2 diabetes were selected. Diabetic patients with a history of acute disease or previous inflammation, malignancy, liver or kidney failure were not included in the investigation. The selected patients were tested for Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) , HbA1c, hs-CRP in the serum and Chronic kidney disease in Iranian patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods: In this cross-CRP) is an inflammatory biomarker which can be elevated as a result of diabetic nephropathy. On the other hand, it can be used as a predictive marker for the progression of diabetic nephropathy.
